The Texas System of Care Community Quarterly Call took place on Thursday, November 17 at 10:00-11:30 AM (CST) on Zoom with the help of the National Training and Technical Assistance Center.
The call focused on the topic of Supervision and Support of Youth and Parent Peer Support Providers: Best Practices and Lesson from the Field, featuring Millie Sweeney, Jasmine Boatwright, and Michelle Vance.
In this presentation:
- Participants will learn about the scope of activities and roles for this unique workforce of Youth and Parent Peer Support Providers.
- Participants will gain a greater understanding of best practices in supervising Youth and Parent Peer Support Providers, including effective supervisor approaches and coaching structures.
- Participants will learn strategies from the field on how Youth and Parent Peer Support Providers can work together to honor both the youth and parent voices within the family unit.
