The Texas System of Care team is happy to share this self-paced video series on Strengths-Based Approaches for professionals who work with children or families. If you have any questions about the content or supporting materials, please feel free to reach out.
Strengths-based approach: A practice centered around the idea that the person seeking help is the agent of change. It’s about identifying what matters most to that person and supporting them to reach their goals. It doesn’t ignore the challenges that individuals or families may face, but instead it focuses on how our positive characteristics can be used to overcome roadblocks to goals.
